In my 26 years on this earth I have only been to a strip club a handful of times (mostly in Atlantic city) and could take them or leave them much like the blackjack table. I started a new job which which required me to travel around the Philadelphia/NJ area most of the day and report back to the office at the end of the day to submit paperwork. In between appointments I would have tons of time to kill, and would do so by shopping, eating, walking around parks, pretty much anything I could to escape listening to talk radio in my car. I finally decided casinos and strip clubs would be more fun and make the days go by faster.
One morning around 11am when they first opened, I made my way to a slummy club in the NE section of philly where I knew extras could be had. After having a soda (no drinking on the job) i chatted up one of the girls who seemed to be a good candidate for some back room fun. She was a short skinny blonde about 30 with lots of tattoos. After a few minutes we decided to head to the back for a few songs of full on extras. This is maybe at 11:15am.
Just as my dick is about to come out of my pants the lights go on. We scrambled to get put together and an LCB agent opens up the curtains. Thinking I was in trouble was basically in shock. But to my surprise the woman LCB agent told me to hang tight and the girl had to go hang with her coworkers while they checked IDs and liquor bottles for bugs and what not. ( I'm sure they had them in there as this place was nasty).
I had not yet paid for the dances/ extras thank goodness, made my way to the bar. I sipped my coke and skipped out of there as fast as I could without looking like I was running.
This was the last visit before covid shut things down. I am itching to try another spot as being cooped up had made be backed up lol. I'll be venturing out there soon but until than I hope everyone is safe and using common sense.
Wow - never had that happen at a strip club - that would stress me out big time. I was in a dive bar in NJ when the ABC agents came in and started checking IDs. I vouched for a underage (19 or 29 yo) neighbor who told the agent he didn’t have any ID. The agent let him off the hook. Sometimes life’s ok.
Closest to me was a bomb threat at the old Harem in Dayton, Ohio. I was about to head to the lap dance area when the Sheriff's department came in and told everyone to get out.
The news the next day said it was a bomb scare. However, I suspect it was part of the initial investigation into the club that eventually got it shut down.
