Fetish Affairs "party" review

This is a review of the Fetish Affairs not-a-strip-club "BDSM/tickling/foot sucking party" in New York City. FA isn't a lapdance party like SVT, Lido, DH, and MN, but it reminds me of a lapdance party, so I'll compare FA to one. I went to Fetish Affairs. Everything Deman said in https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=20757#comment563038 is true. Since Deman is a single post TUSCL user, he probably works for FA. I'll add some details. $50 customer cover. Steep. Oh well. House fee is $40, cheap for NYC. There is a coat check. The venue is a rented swingers club in a prewar apartment building. There is an AMP on a different floor in the building. I initially thought Fetish Affairs was a bait and switch with an AMP. Like FA went out of business and sold their email list and website to an AMP. But FA is not an AMP. You gotta read the directory correctly and goto the correct suite number and open the right door. Since it is a prewar, no elevator. There is NO dress code at FA. Not a drop of pretiousness unlike other lapdance parties in NYC. PLs dressed like it is a dive bar. No corporate or hoodrat clothing. I was the only one in a suit, and I'm never wearing one again to FA. The venue is the entire floor of an apartment building (2 apts joined with 2 seperate doors to the hallway). The venue is basically someone's living room painted purple with some amateur club lighting. Music volume is normal, not club-like, typical top 40. Not a make it rain hip hop traphouse. No stage obviously. No recording of dancers but you can have your phone out in the main floor without being confronted by security (I specifically asked security if I can look at my phone ITC, answer was yes). Club closes at 12:30am officially, really fucking early, but remember no alcohol, so no last call laws. I think some customers and dancers stayed later than 12:30am but it was upto each couple. Upon entry the bouncer asks you to show your invite email on your phone, then pulls out his tablet, and asks you for your email address and looks it up on his tablet to make sure you are on the mailing list. He then asks for the cover. After that you get a script read to you of the rules, and a couple basic stupid questions in a 5 second interview. If you fail the interview and are denied entry, you should go jump infront of a train for being retarded. Half of the floor/the living room is a "popup"/amateur club. Random seats scattered thrugh out the room. Some padded metal folding, some club-like, and some stand up cocktail tables, "bar" in corner. But its not a bar, just a portable table with shelves under neath, and fridge in the corner. Fridge had food and beverages. I didnt ask the bartender about food availablebility. Ice was from a bought bag of ice. No ice machine. The beverages were free, tip suggested (makes the $50 cover less harsh). No soda fountain, only from 2Ls. No alcohol but it is BYOB and the bartender would pour you from your own bottle liquor if that is your thing. From the zero construction it took to make this club, it obviously isn't a licensed anything. It sure isn't vegas style. It is a house party with black and purple painted walls. If there is a fire, you will probably die here since there are no red exit lights like in licensed clubs. The "main floor" has a door to a smoking room. The smoking room is a closet with just chairs with a window and a continous exhaust fan. I was told by the doorman, unprompted, if I smoke weed, my ass is grass. The other half of the club is the session area, or what I call in other clubs, the semi-private LD area, but I can't call it the LD area cuz LDs aren't the point of this club. Session area has some BDSM furniture but I didn't see it being used. There was one VIP room created with a 360-degree black curtain. Session area had many S shaped and curved shoji divider walls, with bench seating along walls. 4 different times in 1 hr I and my dancer got a divider wall kicked or knocked down onto us. That really kills the mood when you and your dancer loose chemistry and start laughing over the wall falling down on us and other ppl picking up the wall off of us and appologizing. If the divider walls can't be used for privacy (to split a bench seat into 2 or more sections), they use curtains. Warning, an arm, leg will sometimes start poking the curtain from the opposite site, you gotta push or tap that foot or elbow to get the other couple to watch their space and not invade your space. The session area has a wait time where you sit with a dancer in the center staring at all the divider walls waiting for a space to get free. The spaces are always filled and there are 1-2 couples ahead of you waiting. Coming out of session area, I saw 1 couple lapdancing on main floor on a bench, so if session area is full, you might as well go at it on main floor, although it is zero privacy. I suggest comming at 7PM at exactly opening time. All the girls seem to be there by 7PM sharp and no random arrival times whenever the girls feel like. If she isnt there at opening time, she wont be there at all. The official price is $20 for 10 minutes. I got warned by a dancer, that other dancers want $40 or $60 or more per 10 minutes for certain extreme fetishes but it is the exception and not common. It depends on the dancer, what she is comfortable with and who you are, what you want from her, how you look, how you talk to her, etc. In the booth next to me and my fav from another SC, I heard a dancer upselling things during the "dance" for $ with the PL and PL seemed disappointed/ripped off in how he spoke to her. I stopped paying attention to the other couple and returned back to concentrating on my girl so IDK how that convo ended or he stopped after $20/1 session. Dancer you choose has to memorize the start time or check it on her phone, or set a timer running her phone. Verbally agree on a start time with your dancer looking at the time with her. As with all strippers, you are always at risk of song (not here at FA) and time inflation. Pull out your phone often and keep track of time yourself during the session. I have only 1 example of how the typical conversation goes with a virgin to you FA dancer. At FA you HAVE to say what you want from the girl or she will refuse to go in the back with you, my example did this. There is no unspecified "fun" or sterile "lapdances" here. Theoretically, the girls here could give you lapdance, but if you ask for one, they will look at your funny, then asked what you really want and they wont belive that you want "just" a lapdance from a BDSM place. "Why the fuck are you here if you want just a lapdance?". But then again I heard that pathetic upselling conversation in the booth next to mine, so some dancer will take you in the back, and for $20/10 min you will get, an air dance or talking???? IDK lol. When I got tired in session area, I started to talk with my dancer instead of having fun, and my dancer told me to STFU and stop talking to her and keep the fun going because it is wasting my $ and we should go back to main floor if I want to talk with her. What a nice girl. Consent is a big rule here. The doorman tells you that explictly when you enter. There are bouncers roving around and sitting in main floor and session area, but I am going to guess, short of a girl screaming a stop word, the bouncers dont get involved. No dancing around the issue that this place isn't for lapdances (pun intended), no flirting, no euphemisms, this isn't a SC. You go down a bucket list and she says yes or no. Remember the main theme of this club is BDSM but dancers are flexible and some will do stuff that isn't textbook BDSM domination. I assume some of the girls here will ONLY do textbook BDSM domination but I dont have enough examples to comment. There will be a really bad experiance if you want GFE and you get a dom that will choke and scratch you and kick you in your nuts. You MUST say what you want here to the girl. There are no cameras here, you will never hear "but there are cameras" here. In the session area, the walls and curtains hide some of each couple, but you can still tell that the cubbie hole is occupied and you can tell the general position of the couple through cracks and gaps and walking passages between the shoji walls. In a normal SC, every customer and dancer are in RCG or CG position with customer sitting on a chair or bench. Here from my peeks, %50 of the couples were not in RCG or CG (standard lapdance positions), I think I saw every position imaginable. Aslong as you and the dancer dont invade the space of another cubbie hole intended for another couple any position is fine. I saw some examples of lying flat on a bench seat like its a bed with a dancer. Very few of the cubbies had enough room to lay fully flat with a dancer. Because I spent most of my time here with a dancer I unexpectedly ran into from Lido which theoretically has stricter rules than FA but for complicated reasons, we spent alot of time talking together at Lido, but it was impossible for reasons that neither I nor she caused to get a LD from her that night at Lido so IDK how she gives LDs at a "normal" SC. At FA she told me she doesnt really know how to give LDs because shes been a stripper only 3 weeks. LOL. I told her thats fine and I dont want LDs, I then smiled, and then we instantly went crazy without a word. Her opinion was she will stick with working at FA over Lido since no guys walked upto her at Lido except me. She is shy and hates having to walk upto guys, and wants all the guys to pick her, not her pick the guys. She had a bad experiance with her picking a guy at Lido and it rubbed off on her badly. At FA she said the PLs came over and introduced themselves to her each time, and she made more $ at FA than Lido per night even though the dance prices are lower at FA over Lido, because at FA customers are friendly and say hi first to strippers, and she never goes upto customers first. The atmosphere here is very friendly. All the dancers seem approachable. Another PL walked upto me and introduced himself and we talked a bit. He started pointing out particular dancers and what they do to him. A bit disgusting to hear, but I cant judge. No rock cold hoodrat money bitches as far as I can tell. This other guy said he used to goto dungeons but found FA is much better than escorts or dungeons because those cost $100s and you never know about looks or chemistry before you fork over the $. I'll expand on that. At FA, you have the main floor "get to know each other" and interview for free. If you get along on main floor, you goto session area. Then in session area, if you and a dancer dont work out physically, you only lost $20, not $200. Smart PL. This PL thinks the same way as Subraman in https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=44731 . I wish I talked with him more, but my dancer from another SC walked into main floor and I immediatly bolted for her to say hi and catch her before any other PL can. It was BS I TWICE saw and talked with her last week at another SC and I couldn't get a "LD" in two visits to that other SC. Enough was enough, I'm not letting this fish escape this time. It was worth cutting off my convo with the other PL and bolting for my dancer. FA makes me wonder if I will ever go back to a regular SC or the other lapdance parties. Regular SCs are for hood ballers, lapdance parties are for corporate ballers. FA is non-ballers who want "real [perverted] girls" who are into extreme fetishes, more "real girls" than the other lapdance parties offer. For cover fee comparison, SVT is $50 cover and you get a bouncer standing 3 feet from you looking you in the eyes with arms crossed the entire time you are getting a dance but Lido happy hour cover is $20, DH is $20 or free, and MN is $40. FA's $50 cover is high, but there are 3 things that make the $50 cover affordable at FA. One, "dance prices" are dirt cheap. 1 hr is $120. Two, you get $1 after tip non-alco drinks and BYOB. Three you ask about what you want before you spend any $ on her, no wasting $ on audition dances. I will be back to FA.
