Although Visions is by far my favorite club in New Orleans (check out the review page if you havent seen it yet), I prefer this place and Scores Mansion on the rare occasions I visit Bourbon Street. Unlike Visions, these places are more upscale with better ambiance and I like them when I just want to have a few drinks and watch pretty stage dancers without  necessarily getting super high mileage (although Scores is usually a good choice if you want pretty good mileage with leaving the FQ).  

As a large corporate club, BL is defintely on the expensive side, but so is every club on Bourbon Street and in my experience BL is not as obscenely outrageous as Rick's, Penthouse, and Hustler (the other three big corporate clubs in the FQ). 

Tuesday nights are usually a good time to go because they usually have their 2 for 1 night on Tuesdays -- two beers, two drinks, two lappers, etc. -- for the price of one.
