Well, Tootsies gets reviewed so much, it's hard to come up with something new to add that hasn't already been said by someone else. But it is now probably my favorite club in south Florida, so I guess I'll go ahead and review it anyway.

The place is huge, as is the parking lot. I actually like a large parking lot, so that parking is never a hassle (such as at Mons in Tampa). And parking is free, which I also like (hate having to pay to park myself, even if the lot is mostly empty). This review covers several afternoon visits and one early evening visit (on a Friday). There was no cover at these times, and I was never ID'ed (although I am on the far side of forty, and that may have something to do with it).

Once you walk in, the club definitely reminds you of the upscale clubs in Vegas. Although the place is huge and mostly open, it is kind of divided into differernt areas by decor. There is a long bar along the wall just to the left of the main entrance. This is usually my first stop to get a beer (domestics usually run around $5).

The main stage is right in front of this bar, and is decorated kind of like the outside of a movie theater. As described below, there is a "cat walk" around the front of this stage. Best seats for watching the stage dances is at this cat walk. Dancers perform first on stage and then rotate down to the cat walk and continue to dance (nude) along the catwalk, collecting $1 tips from the guys seated there. This area tends to be the most active and crowded, and this is the place you want to check out the entertainers before going for LDs. Sit on the right side of the catwalk, where the dancers exit, to catch the dancers before someone else grabs them. There is another bar behind this main stage, which tends to be a little quieter during the afternoon, and is a good place to sit if you just want to chill out a little. Between this bar and the main stage is another seating area that is open during afternoons, with more comfortable chairs. This is where I like to sit and talk with a dancer before going for the LDs.

Once you select a dancer for some private dances, she will take you back to the LD areas. Most seem to like to go to the area behind this second bar. There's a bouncer at the entrance of this area, to whom the dancers have to apparently tip out to after your dances. But he generally stays seated and doesn't often walk back into the dance area. There is no charge to customers for going in (as opposed to the Tampa clubs). Dances are done in semi-private booths. They are not completely closed off, but offer reasonable privacy. Dances are generally $25/song, and songs are reasonably long. Dances are topless, and the dancer usually keeps her G string on, with some dancers that will pull it down to let you view the kitty. Touching and caressing her boobs and ass is generally standard. I've found that most will also let you massage the kitty on top of her G string, and a few will let you feel inside the G (if you're cool about it and have gotten several consequtive dances). Some dancers will upsell to the VIP rooms for half an hour, which in the afternoons is generally $75 to the house, and $200 to the dancer (depending on the dancer). Evening and night prices are higher. I've been offered as low as $75/$175 for the VIP. I haven't taken any dancers to the VIP as yet, but am planning to on my next visit, to see if what I've heard is true.
