Small recon at the cat
I started my early afternoon at the Port for some cheap drinks and a bit of eye candy, then ended up here shortly after. Parking was just $2, and I tipped the attendant a buck. There was no cover charge, which was a nice bonus.
When I walked in, I did a lap around the bar and found a spot in the back near the entrance. In hindsight, I probably should have sat closer to the main stage, but my seat was still pretty good. Throughout the afternoon, I was approached multiple times by the ladies offering various “fun” in the back, but I politely declined.
One petite Colombian/Cuban girl caught my attention—she was super cute and did a couple of lap dances at the bar for $10 a song. She tried to upsell me, but I told her “not right now.” Unfortunately, she never came back… my loss. On the other hand, I’d avoid some of the Cuban dancers who were overly pushy—aggressive with their approach and playing petty games like, “Buy me a drink, I’m thirsty,” or “Buy me a dance, I have to eat.” I get it—they’re here to make money—but I stick to tipping, buying dances, and getting drinks from the ones who are friendly and professional.
