On a weeknight late in January...

On a weeknight late in January or early in February, about two or three weeks before Mardi Gras, I found myself with time and money to kill, and I was getting tired of the usual "I know how little I'm going to get" from Visions (still the best bang-for-lapdance-buck in NOLa) so I went to Scores instead. The Mardi Gras crowds hadn't quite yet swelled to the level that it was totally annoying, though there were a lot of aggressive out-of-town customers AND DANCERS in Scores. But some of the regular girls were there as well. I went upstairs for a 3-for-1 with one redhead from Mississippi, who was physically very attractive to me, but she didn't really know what she was doing with the lappers, just like another gal in my previous report (below). And I hooked up for a GRRRREAT time with one of Scores' best gals, a local artiste bohemian type named Lola. She isn't necessarily a full-service gal (though I frankly don't know, because I was enjoying myself enough WITHOUT having to take Willie out of his zippered enclosure), but she certainly IS a highly "interpersonal" gal. She made me feel like she was my real-life girlfriend, for the half-hour that I spent with her in one of the VIP rooms. It's expensive -- $100 for a 3-song lap-dance, and most girls cut it short; and $300 (plus "mandatory" tip, roughly $50-?, to the waitress) for a 30-minute not-very-high-service VIP experience. I'm sure some girls will do 100% of what you ask, and I really do think that most of the mainstream "house girls" will be very honest and up-front about what you can and cannot buy from them in the VIP and what the price will be. But it's still a LOT of money for very little service, at least in my experience. It was great to get a girlfriend for a little time, in that way that really gets all the toxic endorphins to rush out of your body and leave you good-to-go for a few months. I don't know how much more you can get, but I do suspect you won't get (too much) bait-and-switch at Scores. Visions is still the best ratio of cost-to-contact for lap dances in New Orleans, but Visions won't really give you many chances to get anything more than a "sensual" lap-dance type of service. Scores -- at its obscenely high Bourbon Street prices -- does offer something more, if that's what you're looking for.
