This was a rather different experience...

This was a rather different experience than anything else I have come across. Not really a strip club, more a topless encounter bar. I went there after trying out the Olde Axe in Shoreditch and the Venus just down the road. I'd more or less spent my budget for the evening & was thinking I'd check it out & maybe have a longer visit the next day so this was just a short visit. Next day was Saturday & Chatterbox is closed Sat & Sun. Perhaps they mainly target commuters? Anyway at about 10pm on a Friday I was the only customer.

I was greeted by a youngish guy & escorted to a curtained off area containing an octagonal bar with seats all round & a space inside for the hostess. I caught a glimpse of 2 or 3 other girls sitting in another area but couldn't describe them. A young lady was sent in to serve me & slipped into the serving space. Can't remember her name but she was a slim, pretty black girl from Kenya - probably 20something.

She explained no entry fee just £10 for each customer drink. There is a range of prices above this basic level including buying the hostess drinks. As far as I can remember I didn't have to buy her a drink in order for her to go topless but I bought her one anyway - seemed churlish not too as I intended to engage her in chat for a while. There's an option to buy a bottle of wine & retire with the hostess to a private area. Think it was about £100 for 30 minutes but I could be wrong. Going private apparently entitles you to touch & lick her tits & maybe more - which kinda appealed as she had nice if small tits with prominent nipples. But I was saving cash for the next night so I declined.

Maybe if I'm in the area again I'll try it and report back - or maybe someone else will?
