Wear a kilt, laddie! No better reason for buying one!

Tried wearing shorts to a SC once (the B&H in Edinburgh) and got much less attention than usual even though I was pretty much a regular at the time. I think the girls were definitely put off. (Well it is Scotland so its rarely really warm enough for shorts in the city.) Here in the UK this is, in my experience, very rare. It's only happened to me twice but in different cities. Both times when the clubs were quiet and I'd had time to strike up a rapport with the dancer.
