This club is actually now called...

This club is actually now called "Le Gentlemen's Choice". Yea, I know that there's another club in downtown Montreal that's called the same thing on Ste. Catherine Street West, but *that* club apparently bought this club & they changed the name. It's stupid, and the back part of the club (no entrance there) still has a sign that says "L'Axe".

This is a small strip club that's in a regular club district North of the Latin Quarter in Montreal near the intersection of St-Denis & Ontario East. There was no cover charge (just a "donation" to the doorman), and drinks started out at around $5. It's another long, narrow Montreal strip club...only at ground level. You enter through a couple of doors right near the DJ area & what looked to be the entrance to the dancer's dressing room. The stage is along the right-side of the narrow room, and the main, small seating area is on the left. At the back of the club is where the bar and elevated LD area is located...as well as the set of stairs to the downstairs, small, dirty bathrooms.

The $10/full-contact, topless dances had an excellent grind to them and were well-worth it IMO. The LD area is merely a series of open cubicles/nooks where you can't be seen except by people that are passing by on their way to another LD cubicle. The mileage here got much greater the more songs you went through. I had a great time with an Asian (Chinese) lady from Toronto recently...she really enjoyed her work!
