Time machine!
If you feel like stepping into a time machine and going back at least 40 years, this is the spot. The lighting, furniture, and décor look like they haven’t changed in decades, and the place has a very worn, tired feel. On the bright side, there is no entrance fee, at least at the time I went around 6:30 pm, probably because there was no security at the door to tip, and the prices are low. I stopped by on a Thursday evening and found just a few guys sitting at the bar. Outside, there were some odd characters hanging around, but they did not seem harmful.
Inside, it almost feels like an old movie set, with slot machines by the bar and an overall unkempt vibe. The bathroom was relatively clean, but the rest of the place could use some serious attention. I grabbed a beer for $7 and took a seat by the wall. Only two dancers were around and none on stage. I chatted with both, but they seemed tired. I had a few dances with the younger one at $10 each, could grab but not enough grinding, and honestly nothing to write home about.
When I asked the male bartender about the timing of the dancers, he shrugged and said he had no idea, sometimes they come much later. For the money spent, it is not the worst way to kill some time, but I was hoping for more interaction and energy.
