Checking out Montreal's North Shore-worth the extra gas

Made the trip to Montreal's North Shore to visit O'Gascon recently. Thursday night about 8:00 in a nice neighborhood with a well-lit parking lot that looked reasonably secure-PSA for those not in the know, Montreal and it's suburbs are experiencing a auto-theft crime spree that is off the charts. Always, always, always consider the safety of your parking spot or you may find yourself stranded after a night of clubbing. Especially downtown-hence the appeal of driving a little out of the way to a place like this.

Walked in and immediately was greeted by a friendly bouncer who offered that I was there too early and I'd be better off coming back closer to 9:00. Talk about service, wow-that's a decent piece of information. Information that I ignored, however and I'm happy I did. Tipped the guy $5 CA and sat at the horseshoe shaped bar-got a Labatt for $10 CA after tax. Not cheap, but with the US exchange, not bad.

The layout-first, let me say, the place is frickin' gorgeous. You walk right into a foyer with a coat room staffed by a little cutie. Next door takes you to the main circular stage, with a bar to the right-bathrooms are immediately to your right upon entrance. From the front door, the booths are to the left.

From my perch at the bar, immediately caught the eye of a hardbodied dancer going through her stretching/warmup routine, Stephanie-hit the gym regularly and had the toned bod' to show for it. Quick conversation and we headed to the booths. On the way into the back, stopped and paid a house fee for the booth and signed in ($10 CA, I think-might've been $5). Followed Stephanie into the back and saw immediately that this was not an extras club-no curtains or doors on any of the booths. Dance was $20 per song, and I happily sat for three really good songs, full nude, but, that was the extent of it. No extras were offered, not saying you couldn't put some time and dollars in to make it happen, but I didn't pursue it on this particular night. Nice dance, tho.

Grabbed another beer, enjoyed another dance from a hot blonde with some nice bolt-ons (I swear, they were almost 80's pornstar style big!) and upon coming out from the booths I saw that the bouncer was right-by 9:30 there were a variety of beautiful women all over the place. Enhanced, curvy, athletic, non-tatted and tatted all represented and every one of them a legitimate smoke show. I didn't count noses, but for a minute there, it struck me that there were more dancers than visitors. Also struck me that I hadn't seen a lineup this sweet in quite a while.
