Ok, first off I'm not a Rick's type guy..I prefer the smaller, darker clubs. But..I was in New Orleans last week and stopped by Rick's at about 8:30 p.m. and it seemed deserted. One table with a guy and his female companion another with a young guy and then there was me. One lady dancing and another leaning at the bar, two were at the entrance to Rick's.

The place is nice and upscale and the drinks are priced at what you would expect for Bourbon street but the club was d-e-a-d! I tried to get the attention of the (1) dancer available, but she just kept staring at reflection and ignored the tips, guess I was lucky. If you're in NO during the week, and feel the need to check out Rick's, think about it. You will do better at the smaller clubs, I think.
