This place is literally a hole...
This place is literally a hole in the wall. The best thing it has going for it is a full size pool table that takes up about half the club the place is so small. It had a cover on so who knows what shape it's in. When you first walk in you'll see a booth (for the DJ? Was there a DJ?) which is also where you would chat with the greeter (on the off chance this place could get away with charging a cover). Walk around it and into the club and you'll next hit the pool table. Past the pool table is the bar area with small stage left layout. Saw one dancer on top of the bar looking like she was giving another customer all he could handle while trying to tip. She actually looked pretty decent and had good moves. Past the bar is a dark little alcove with a few beat up black couches that I'm guessing is the dance area.
The guy at the bar charged me $8 for a bottle of water then had the nerve to ask for $2 for a tip when he was giving my change back. He got the tip, but lost the customer. Walked out with the water about 10 seconds later. Noticed a heavier dancer hanging out with the DJ on the way out. Got the hard sell to stick around, and walked by a couple of other times back and forth to my car with the hype guys still trying to get me back in each time. If you're looking for the scoop, you can get some of the best deals on The Block here. Possibly even with a girl you'd want to deal with depending on your luck. Whether that is worth enough for the short walk off the beaten path around the corner onto Commerce St is totally up to you...
