Truth of the matter is, unless you're (a) local, it really might be hard to get much (any?) mileage at strip clubs on Bourbon Street. Lucky for me, I live about 60 feet off of Bourbon and have for most of my life. I work in a non-tourist/hospitality industry and have no bias toward any club. Rick's, though, stands out as a premier club. And that goes for here as well as many places I've been and that stands despite what others have written here about Rick's and Bourbon Street strip clubs. Made my 'rounds' the other night and thought I'd drop an update. Happy hour is still until 7 PM, with a really great buffet and drink specials as good or better than you'll get at your neighborhood bar. Ricky is still the hot number to try and get upstairs with and the music still rocks. Game is usually on (ESPN) and there is always a decent selection of good-looking women (sorry they aren't completely nude, but what you gonna do?). Since they took out the raised level near the door and there's no cover during happy hour and the management is pretty laid back, hey! What more could you ask for in NO?
