I went to the Cheyenne Gentlemen's Club at 18:00 on a Saturday night. The club shares a large parking lot with a Chinese massage parlor and a marijuana dispensary. There was a $10 cover charge at the door. I was wanded with a handheld metal detector. Customers only have to be eighteen years old to enter. Customers under twenty-one are given a different color wristband than the customers that are twenty-one and over. The bar is on the left wall. The main stage is a large T-shaped platform against the back wall. There is a smaller auxiliary stage on the right wall. Both stages have one pole each. The VIP area is in a separate room inside the right wall of the club. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $600 and charges a $16 transaction fee. Sincweisers and Sinc Lights were $4, while Michelob Ultras were $5. I bought a Casamigos shot for a dancer. It was $10. Songs are cut to three minutes exactly. Dancers perform on stage for two song sets. The DJ is automated with the CoverJock software system.

The Cheyenne Gentlemen’s Club technically sits on Cherokee land in Oklahoma, so many of the dancers are Native American or have partial Native American ancestry. Another thing I noticed was that it was almost universal that the dancers are moms here. Every single dancer, except for possibly one or two, showed the telltale signs of baby damage. Most of the dancers were in their twenties. If dancers arrive before 18:00, their house fee is waived. Even though this is a topless club, most dancers did not remove their tops while dancing on stage. As a result, very few customers even bothered to tip the stage show.

Lap dances are $20 per song out on the main floor. These are essentially table dances where the dancers can touch you, but you cannot touch the dancers. Two-way touching is allowed when you purchase a minimum of fifteen minutes in the VIP area. The VIP area is a bunch of booths in a separate room with privacy from the main room, but not much privacy from others who are in the VIP area at the same time. Fifteen minutes is $120. There are more private booths used when you purchase a half hour or an hour block of time. A half hour is $250. An hour is $400.
