I went to Bar Valentine at 23:45 on a Friday night. The building is very long and not too wide and extends a ways back from the boulevard. To me, it appears the building was a motor lodge in a previous life. There are a few motel rooms still visible at the back of the building. There was no cover charge. Sincweisers were $7.75, but the bartender gives change as if they are $8.

The front end of the room, which is closest to the street, is like an open restroom with little privacy from the main room. Moving further back is a claw machine with dildos and a vending machine with snacks. Across from the entrance and slightly to the right is the U-shaped bar. Continuing south is the island main stage. It has two poles and sits about a half meter off ground. There is a single pool table and a small auxiliary stage at the back of the room. Lap dance rooms are located in another area further down the narrow building.

There were fourteen dancers working. I graded them out between a 5 and a 9. Most of the dancers were white. Two of the dancers were black. Dancers play music off an AMI jukebox at the back of the main room. Dancers go on stage for one song, getting topless. Then there is a one song break where the stage is empty. Finally, the dancer returns to stage for a second song getting nude. It is rare for customers to tip the stage, but when they do, dancers will provide contact. Private dances were $20 per four minutes, not by the song since the AMI jukebox provides inconsistent long lengths. There are timers in the dance booths. Customers are allowed to grope the dancers all over.
