Relax at the Arch

I visited on a Tuesday evening around 10:30. Walking in off K Street, the door man looks you over and asks for $20 and if you’ve been there before. I’ve been visiting Achibalds once or twice a year for the past 10 years, save for the Covid years. Walk up a few steps and around a slight corner. The place is long and narrow. There’s a stage with a hoola hoop hanging from the ceiling on the left with benches and tables. The bar is on your right.

I travel alone and enjoy sitting at the first barstool. It’s nearly directly across the stage and you can get a good view of the dancers do their thing. DC strip clubs are what they are. You’re not going to get a Mons Venus dance here. Actually, I have no idea, I’ve never bothered trying to get a private dance with all the no touch DC rules. But at any rate, from this spot at the bar, you can get a great view of the girls doing their thing. Overall talent is mixed here, at least for a Tuesday. Can’t speak for the weekend. There’s a mix of “focus on my beer and the porn playing on the tv” girls and a few “can’t take my eyes off that body” girls. Selena (Serena?) is one of my faves - thin white brunette, medium height, funny little nose. I’ve seen her here for a couple years. She’s not the greatest on the hoop, but has gotten better. But she’s got tits to die for and some nice moves with a deep stare that will help you forgot about work.

As far as the price, that’s really why I go here. $20 cover and $13 beer. Really, beer is not that much cheaper anywhere else in DC. For $33, you can see free pussy for as long as you can sip. Now, of course I tip at the stage. This place used to be real bad about the tip walk after each dance, and the girls still do that some, but not like they used to. But my point is you can spend pretty much as much or as little as you want and see fully nude girls after a long day of meetings.
