Not a good night at Tangos

I really don't know what happened. Tangos has been a go-to for many years and I went a couple months ago and it was the same. But recently, went with buddies and it was like the world had changed. Gone were the above average cuties hustling for bucks and instead it looked more like a ghetto scene. All but one of the dancers on hand were black as were most of the clients. The three of us went in and had a couple round of drinks and none of the girls approached us.

The place has two stages, a bigger longer one and a smaller one closer to the entrance. Normally, most of the people sit around the bigger stage, but that night everyone was crowded around the smaller stage and there wasn't a lot of dancing going on. Most of the girls were occupied with their phones.

Tangos is just a few blocks from Bonita Flats. Normally, Tangos has the better women, but the hustle is more intense. This time, all of the fun was at Bonita Flats and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Still $10 membership fee or cover and drinks at Tangos are not outrageous, so I am hoping this trip was an outlier rather than the new normal. I will know next time I visit, but after last trip, I probably won't be in a hurry.
