Not Much Warmer Inside the Club than Outside

With an empty afternoon in front of me, decided to try GGC again on a Wednesday afternoon. Yes, that's as off-peak as it gets. Yes, my expectations are high. Still, GGC remains generally unexciting. GGC is on a main highway in East Baltimore. Plenty of free parking next to the building (on a weekday afternoon, at least). ID checked but not scanned at the entrance. No cover, $5 for my usual water. The building is very nice, spacious, appropriately lit, sports on TV, clean bathroom, no tip walk, etc.- when it comes to those details that could mar an otherwise good visit, GGC is going to do well. But it still fails on the main count.

Wednesdays at GGC are $20 LD days as advertised on their website. The club lets the dancers keep all the LD money, so that leads to more dancers working and pushing LDs. Thus my theory that there might be someone (anyone) worth chatting and spending time with. But theory and practice are two different things, alas.
