A nice warm-up to the rest of my day.

I got a last-minute window to do a little strip club hunting on this Tuesday. I usually like a game plan (knowing at least one dancer at a particular club that is dancing that will provide what I am looking for if the hunt comes up empty), but I went out blind because of the short notice. I thought I would start out at The Venue and see if a favorite was dancing, but no such luck. Here is how my experience went at this club.

It is conveniently located by I-205 and sits between two one-way streets with a large parking lot for easy access. When I pulled in to the lot around 11 AM, I noticed two skimpy dressed dancers sitting at the smoking bench (no patio) beside the two double door entrance. This place was empty except two other customers and three dancers, Millie, Anaconda, and Morgan. Morgan was on the stage with one customer while the other two dancers were smoking. I walked in with no cover, no ID check, no bouncer and headed to the john (I have been in worse strip club bathrooms). If you stop by when there is a bouncer at the door and he wants to scan your ID, just ask if there is another option to which he will just look at it and give it back. I stopped at the bar and got a $3 coke from the very cute and long-time bartender. There is a full bar along with a kitchen. This club has a decent size circular stage with plenty of seating in the center of the main room with tables/chairs scattered about. A raised area with more tables/chairs and lottery machines in the back left area. A smaller stage also in the back that I have never seen used along with a DJ booth.

One of the highlights of this club for me are their lap dance booths, which are in a separate walled area in the back. They are private, decent size with small leather couches, just curtains for the door and a camera on the ceiling. The cameras have never been an issue for me from my many experiences here, which some are memorable. No VIP rooms. The club sets the dance prices at $40 per song or three for $100. If you do four songs, it will cost you $140. If you negotiate a “tip for play” option, it will cost you on top of this.
