Mediocre visit saved by Darla

After a bust of a visit to Teaser Pleaser (though it went about as well as I anticipated based on reviews) I headed to Exotic Kitty's.

I arrived around 00:30 to find the place very busy with few seats available yet at the same time it felt kind of quiet. Definitely not a party vibe. It's a dry club so I grabbed an overpriced water and took a seat. Even though it was a packed house the seats around the stage were noticeably empty. After a few songs with little tipping I started to feel a bit sorry for the dancers and proceeded to the front to toss a few bills. That got the dancers to come over and gyrate my way for a few moments but stage side interaction is nearly nonexistent. Then two things I've never encountered before in a strip club occurred. First, it was someone's birthday so they called him to the stage, had him take a seat, and had maybe 8-10 dancers walk up to him for mini lap dances. It was... a total waste of time. Then the DJ announced that all the girls were on a 10 minute break. I've never encountered a club that voluntarily stopped all action to give the dancers a break. Does Bakersfield have some sort of stripper's union that no one mentioned? Are these girls with the Teamsters or something? By the time the break ended it was getting past my bedtime. Luckily Darla came onstage.

Darla is a big girl, more than just thick, but she wears it pretty well and has huge, pillowy boobs and a bit of a goth/punk look an attitude. After her stage set she came by, saying that she was just going to sit for a moment, and made a little small talk. Right when she was starting to offer a dance the DJ came on and announced a 3-4-1 special. I've run into plenty of 2-4-1's but the elusive 3-4-1 could not be missed. We went upstairs to the balcony overlooking the stage and grabbed one of the high-back couches. I paid Darla and she ran off to 'pay the robot'. She returned to give me a extremely solid dance. The grind was good, the view was good, the contact was good, and Darla is the type of dancer that caresses your body like a lover and give good aural, lots of little moans and sighs. All in all an excellent dance experience. My only regret is that I didn't continue the fun after our 3-4-1 ended. Instead I tipped her for her efforts and returned to the floor hoping to grab get a couple more dances from other girls before heading out.
