The Thrill is Back !

Cheerleaders is one of my favorite places, but I hadn't really had a great time there during my recent visits. Either there wasn't really any dancers who thrilled me or the ones I liked were average, at best, in the back. I'm happy to report I had a great time last night (Wednesday).

The place has ample free parking in the front. I was approached by a sketchy looking panhandler when I was leaving who was walking around between cars in the parking lot. I know people have been robbed and even shot dead in this parking lot, so I'm not going to say it's safe. I'm on guard. I told the guy, "sorry, no" when he asked for money, and he walked away. Turned out he was just an old decrepit looking bum. I changed my mind as I was driving away and handed him a couple bucks through the passenger side window. It's not in a bad neighborhood, more of a commercial area, but sorry to say, you better be smart and watch your back.

There were a couple of girls behind a desk by the entrance collecting the cover - $5 at about 7:30 pm. I paid the cover with a $20 and got all $1s in change. I put a couple bucks in the tip jar and put my phone and keys in the basket the bouncer had and then walked through the metal detector. I got my phone and keys back and inside there were plenty of seats at the bar. I could finally settle-in and relax.
