Visited: Not Provided Afternoon

After reading Artcollege’s recent review, it prompted me to make a last minute decision and head to this club. I am not purposely going to put an exact day because I am going to get a little dancer explicit, but it was a weekend, mid-afternoon stop. I generally prefer weekday mornings/early afternoon visits as they tend to be a little more relaxed, less busy, and can have more personal attention from the dancers outside the booth. I like this club as the layout is strip club friendly as compared to most of the dive clubs in Portland, yet has a dive club feel with the dancers. A decent size and nice building with lots of parking. Also, easy access from the freeway and two different one-way streets. I read from another monger that this club used to be a Hooters. I guess in a lot of ways, it still is, food, drink and lots of boobies! This club sets the dancer prices with $40/song or 3/$100 and they take $5/song from the dancer. With that, the dancer only makes $85 on a 3/$100 lap dance. No bargain or negation dances here and if you do four dances, $140. They have cameras in the booths, but are not monitored from my experiences. The four individual dance booths are in a separate room which makes them fairly private, except the shear curtain. They have small couches and the rooms are decent size for the typical lap dance booth.

I pulled in to the parking lot and it was about 2/3rds full. I walked in on this afternoon with no security, no ID check, and no cover. It was busy with lots of customers scattered about this decent size club at tables, lotto machines and bar. Besides the customers, I couldn’t believe how many dancers there were. I counted 10 for sure and then lost track. All mix races and sizes to meet anyone’s desire. The bar is not the largest and I had to stand one back to order my beverage. It took five minutes or so, but they had sports going on the screens. When I finally got to the bar, the cute bartender was pouring a tap a little ways away and ask what she could get for me. I said a coke, and she continued to serve a couple other drinks to guys and then sat a rum/coke in front of me. She said "$7.50." I like rum and cokes, but generally don’t drink at the bars as it tends to mess with my lap dance judgement. Anyways, she got $9 out of me and I headed to the rack. All these customers in this place and I am the only one sitting at the rack. A few guys are walking to the stage and laying down a couple of bucks and heading back to their table. The dj even made a joke about the “one dude show.”

Speaking of the dj, it must be a resume’ requirement that “asshole” has to be a personality trait to get the gig. At least a half-a-dozen times I heard him say “Okay, f%$@ers!” Another favorite line was “Tippy for the Strippy!” Payton was up when I sat down and after her two songs, just came over and sat at the rail with me and said, “I don’t know where the dj is at.” I guess they can’t leave the stage until another dancer is up, ready to go, and of course the dj has to announce the stripper so she knows it is her turn to go up. I have been near the back dj booth in the past and have heard him talk with dancers and seems to be an asshole with them too. Okay, enough dj rant.
