Not What I Remember
My girlfriend has been begging me to take her to a strip club as she has never been, so we were passing by Stateline and I figured we would check it out. I have not been to this club since probably around 2011 or so. Man was I shocked at the complete change in atmosphere!
We got there around 1030-1100 pm and the parking lot was easy, a few cars but not what I expected for a Saturday night. We went to the door and was greeted by the staff who were very friendly. I was surprised that they charged a cover fee for my girlfriend because the last time I came here with a woman, she got in for free. Total door fee was $30. We grabbed some cola and settled in right at the stage since it was her first time and I wanted to show her what the whole thing was about.
The club was dead. I have never seen this place so empty, especially on a Saturday night. There were maybe 15 patrons, hard to count. For a club that has as much space as Stateline, 15-25 patrons makes this place nearly empty. Not sure on the number of dancers, I would guess it was in the 6-10 range given the day and the clear decline in number of customers. What few dancers we saw, I would say maybe half were attractive. There was one older lady on stage who wasn't much to look at but at least seemed to be enjoying herself, having stripped completely naked lying down and using her leg like a guitar neck and strumming her pussy. We were putting dollars on the stage as you're supposed to when sitting at the stage, but had a hard time getting any attention from many of the dancers who, for the most part, were just using the pole to hold themselves upright. Usually women patrons can get a lot of fun attention from dancers but not here, or at least with this crew. We more or less were ignored.
