Prices are still too high but it's a nice place

I hadn't been to Tootsies in over a year since there have been widespread reports of prices being crazy but I was in town and decided to see if things have settled down a bit. They have but they're still kind of out of whack.

As many have reported the club is enormous. I think it used be a Costco or something. The crazy part is that it could be even bigger but they use the old loading dock area as private parking. There's plenty of parking and the lot was littered with $100,000+ cars. I was alone and standing in line to get through security when a guy standing at the door asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the VIP area on the top floor. I thought it was weird that he didn't ask everyone but whatever. I was there on mostly a scouting mission so I agreed to pay the upcharge to see what it was about. I believe I paid $30 total after my pat down and the guy escorted me up an elevator to the upstairs bar. When I tell you this place is huge on the inside, I can't over exaggerate. It's more cavernous than DesertScrub's mother's butthole. The upstairs area has a separate stage (mostly went unused while I was there) and a medium sized bar as well as several couches, tables and chairs. This area by itself is as big as many other clubs I've been to and it takes up like 20% of the total size. Downstairs, as you walk in there's a bar to the left and a large stage with a rail around it. In the middle of the stage is a two-story tall pole. There's like 5 or 6 girls dancing on the main stage at any one time. They do this weird rotation where there's a couple on stage and the rest are around the stage soliciting tips from people at the railing. At some point during their rotation all the girls end up nude. There were girls everywhere. I would guess at least 25 or 30 but it could have been way more. You can't see all the people in the club from any vantage point.

Upstairs, where I was, there were about 10 girls sitting around talking to PLs or scrolling through their phone. There were only about 5 other customers at the time. As I entered the gentleman who upsold me brought me over to a couch and then grabbed a stacked latina and brought her over to me. I ordered us a beer and she ordered a shot of some sort in Spanish and the total with tip was around $25. So immediately I knew that this place was still crazy expensive. The girl and I spoke for a few minutes before she started the pressure for VIP. I asked how much and she said it was $800 for a half hour but she liked me so she would do $600 and it would "take care of everything". If $600 was the deal because she liked me, I'd hate to see what the deal was if she didn't like me. I told her thanks but maybe later. She took the hint and she eventually left. I spent a little time over looking the stage when another latina girl approached. This one was much more naturally built with much darker skin. Very pretty but her English was rough. We sat and talked for a few minutes. I ordered another beer and she ordered a redbull. We 'talked' as best we could for a few minutes and she offered to take me to VIP. She started at $500 for the half hour and after some negotiating we settled on $300. I had a feeling this was going to just be a dance and I was OK with that. There was something I was digging about this girl so some alone time seemed like it would be fun. The VIP room was down a hallway upstairs. I paid a meathead the money and a $10 tip and off we went. I will say, the VIP rooms are very nice here. Lot's of room with a mini-stage and a love seat. The girl started dancing and 3 minutes in, a waitress interrupts to take a drink order. I found this annoying but sent her away. The girl danced for me for about 10 minutes before eventually going full nude. It was a very good 30 minutes with as much hands-on contact from her as I needed. After about 30 minutes the meathead came by and yelled that we were out of time. We said our goodbyes and I had one more beer and left.
