Pre-Gaming the Main Event: A Fun Evening at Club Risque

Club Risque is easy to access off of I-95, onto Columbus Blvd/Delaware Ave, near the Delaware River in Philadelphia. There's free parking next to the building, and overflow parking in a monitored lot across the street. A Wawa (IYKYK) is across the street with a fee-free ATM and snacks.

This was a touring pornstar event night, so I arrived about 5:50P for two reasons: to beat the $20 cover charge and to get out before the show crowd. I'm not a fan of the end-of-career pornstar tours...I'm much more entertained by the girls hustlin' it every night.

No cover at this time, walked through a metal detector which beeped due to my phone but nobody even looked up. There's a triangular central bar with 2 poles and stages. There are small tables around the bar, and then an upper level of additional tables. There are more poles on small stages around these other levels which go into action when the crowd picks up. Standard dances in a room to the back left, VIP dances in the back right. I easily found a seat at the bar; beers are reasonably priced.
