The Visit That Changed Everything for Me

After reading Grumpy's "best and worst of times" review (see below), a lightbulb went off. I realized that I had been approaching this club wrong. I decided to check out Cheerleaders again, about 7p on a Friday, after bailing on an uninspiring visit to Oasis. Grumpy's review does a good job with the layout of the club.

There were 15-20 customers sitting around the bar, and another 10 or so in "reserved" tables along the bar. Several hot young dancers seemed attached to the customers at the reserved tables. Another group of mostly less young and hot dancers seemed in rotation on the stage, with only one dancer at a time for two songs, the second topless.

The dancers were of several different colors, ages, and body types, so there was something for everyone. One "dancer" (I won't give her name to be somewhat nice) was ancient; she didn't dance, her sole role seemed to be to circle the bar collecting dollars from guys who were paying just to have her go away. Among highlights, I enjoyed talking to Phoebe - friendly with a pretty face that reminded me of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn character. I enjoyed watching Athena who had some amazing tan lines which I learned she had perfected in Florida. Athena's downward dog pose offered an impressive view and got my imagination fired up. A third girl I thought was really sexy never made it around the tip walk to where I was sitting - apparently somebody else thought she was too good to let go further.
