It's like the Hotel in "The Shining", but with Tits and Loud Music.

I arrived at a mostly empty parking lot, and needing to take a piss, I pay the $7.00 cover and head straight to the men's room. There I met a strange immaculately dressed bathroom troll name Delbert. He looked familiar and kindly wiped the mustard stain off my jacket, from a burger I ate earlier.

I then grabbed a seat at the bar and struck up a conversation with Lloyd the bartender, who also was immaculately dressed. Since I was the only one at the bar, we struck up an interesting conversation. Eventually two tall auburn-haired dancers, who looked like twins, asked me to come play with them in v.i.p.

Okay in all seriousness the newly reopened Christie's in East Phoenix near the Airport, really did remind me of the hotel in “The Shining”. It’s a large, pristine palace with spiraling staircases on either east/west side of the building, and I believe there’s an elevator on the east side too. Also like the movie it was very sparse except in this case sparse of customers and dancers. Also like the movie, the interior has a very 1920’s architecture style- especially when viewed from the main bar.
