New management, new name

After seeing some fliers or something for this place and being at nearby PBI, I decided to stop in this place. It's recently changed management and has a new name: Club 1152.

Anyway, location wise it's a bit out of the way compared to the other clubs in WPB, its in an industrial area on a little street. There is little in the way of parking, maybe 6-8 spots between the street and their lot. Only 2 were used when I arrived around 4 or so. There was no cover or charge to park. Inside, the place looks recently remodeled and had the new paint and recently cut lumber smell. It's not particularly nice, but its at least new. There were the usual array of seats, small tables, bar seats, etc. There's also a few booths roped off for VIP seating and whatnot.

I sat at the bar and got a $3 or so beer from a friendly bartender. I talked to her, and the new management for a bit. They've only been there a few weeks, they claimed evenings are busy but they're having trouble finding girls to work day shift. I agree, there wasn't a single dancer on duty there. No one was on stage or milling around. In fact, I was the only customer there. I was there about 30-45 minutes, chatting, waiting to see if a girl was going to emerge. It didn't happen. From what I could gather, there appears to be some relationship to the management at whats now Shadow Cabaret in Pompano, which I think will likely doom this place. Those guys seem to be into the posturing and pretending to be a upscale, while still fostering elements of a "ratchet" club and thus failing to please either crowd.
