Not tonight

Hadn’t been here since they shed their previous name, but happened to have that itch and knew it was the only club around here anymore. There were hundreds of locals outside in the early evening, maybe a school was celebrating final day so I just scooted inside, wanting to see some sexy women. Fair $5 cover with the touchy patdown complete, and I grabbed my seat and saw three dancers in the room. Slow service as usual, and no tipping asked of me, even though I had my ones out and I obviously wasn’t sitting there talking to a buddy. Music here is loud, but it does add to the party shake the booty atmosphere. Fifteen minutes and no one getting near me, am I wearing ugly clothes? Do I look like a guy who was here recently and was evil? A fourth girl showed up, and finally a ‘Desire/Desiree’ leaned over me for the $5 chair dance. OK, but no chat, she was the cutest one there, but to her I was just a customer. One and done, I’m not enjoying this anyway. The next two onstage dancers didn’t excite, the bartender spent ten minutes looking everywhere except my empty bottle. It was nearly 11pm and I doubt we’re getting to six girls going to dance here tonight. I give up, I am out.. won’t return until 2020, as the girls need to up their ‘I like doing this’ portrayal. You’d all be better trying other places in Philadelphia.
