first trip to London

I was in London for a week with my brother a few weeks ago. After dinner and cocktails out with a break group I split off from the group and took an Uber car from the Covent Garden area to Ye Olde Axe. I had read some reviews here on tuscl and my expectations were relatively low based on what I saw. From what I could tell the SCs in London are more for watching and be around underdressed via a more hands on, interactive experience that most of us prefer.

The club is in a busy but seemingly safe urban, London setting. The club itself looks and feels more like a 100 year old, classic bar in any big city. Long thinnish structure, very high ceilings, one long old school bar off to the right upon entry. Maybe 10-12 stools at the main bar, one couch toward the front and 5 or so booths on the opposite side of the bar that would probably fit 5-6 people each. Two small stages for girls to dance on. Most girls sort walk of around the pole, very light on acrobatics, pole climbing and I didn't see one twerk.

Much has been said about the dirty bathroom. It wasn't great but I've seen much worse. They had running water but no paper towels if I recall. They did have a bathroom troll which was kind of lame given the overall half ass condition of the bathroom.
