Under new management

This is a club that has slowly been declining for several years. This is because of an increasing "ghetto" feel to the club. Multiple managers have tried to reverse this but haven't had any success. This is partly because it is actually located in an increasingly ghetto part of town and partly just poor management. Nearby Harem House and, to a lesser extent, PT's have the same problem but the management hasn't been quite as bad at those two clubs. About three weeks ago, the most recent manager was fired and replaced by the manager from Classy Chassy who then fired the rest of the staff at Babes and brought her staff over with her. So far the change doesn't seem to be working and is akin to shifting deck chairs on the Titanic. The previous manager may have been doing about as well as could be done in a location like this in a bad neighborhood and two competing clubs on the same street. He seemed to have a "people can do anything they want as long they don't hurt anyone" management style and business had improved somewhat under him. He had a collection of girls who were fairly popular with the customers, including a great female bartender named Fiona, and they all seemed to like working under him. They were mostly all fired or quit when he left. On my trip last Friday night I walked in and they didn't even have a girl up on stage. Not wanting to sit and look at an empty stage, I left without buying a drink. I told the door guy on the way out they shouldn't be charging guys to come in when they don't have girls in the club and he just smirked at me. He doesn't care. He's not the owner, just a low paid flunky. The new manager, though, should care but apparently doesn't.
