Short But Satisfying Visit

Honestly, I got here by accident intending to go to Delilah's on a friend's recommendation. Although I would not exactly describe myself as a regular club goer, this place was unlike any I would typically visit. I generally like a 'classic' strip club -- large open spaces with long dance runways and poles. Foxtail didn't feel like a strip club at all; instead it felt like just a neighborhood bar.

I walked in around 11pm. There were maybe a half dozen guys sitting at the bar drinking, and a couple of women sitting with a couple of what seemed like regulars. The music was unremarkable. I sat at the bar by myself and I felt very much like I was at any one of the dozens of nondescript bars I've been to in my life. I ordered a drink and sat nursing it for 20 minutes. Nothing much happened, nothing much changed in the scene. No one bothered me.

Finally, as I was contemplating leaving, a slightly overweight but well proportioned latina with a nice face came over and sat next to me and started chatting with me. She had a thick accent so I switched to speaking to her in Spanish. She seemed to appreciate that and within 5 minutes suggested we go to the back for a dance. Once in the back she didn't waste any time presenting her somewhat limited menu. I ordered and 10 minutes later I was leaving Foxtail's feeling completely satisfied.
