What a difference a year makes...

Was in the area, so I stopped into my favorite QC club Saturday night around 11. So-Co always delivers a consistently fun time with some great Iowa corn-fed ladies. It doesn't have the hottest dancers (Dooks does), the best facilities (Body Shop did), or the cheapest drinks (Chorus Line). But it was always a good fun night out with great entertainers.

I generally stop in here once year when business brings me this way. This visit was a complete 180 talent-wise. The facilities were still the same (very open with stage dominating room), the crowd was still the same (what you expect in an Iowa metro area: white, blue-collar) but the dancers were predominately AA. This was a first for me at any club in this metro area after 20+ years of clubbing. There were roughly 12 dancers on shift. Only one was Caucasian. She looked rough, and spent the entire hour I was there with the same dude performing dollar dances... for...an...hour. Two dancers were very pretty (and very, very thiccc) Latinas. The only entertainer above a 4/5 was an Asian performer who looked to be in her 30s (or higher) with a decent boob job. But outside of these, every other dancer in the club was African-American of varying looks and size. No one stood out among these ladies with the exception of a cute, very petite honey name Unique. During my hour passing out singles on sniffer's row, she was the only lady to stop be and offer a dollar dance (all others stayed stationary with a regular when not dancing). All dancers did a fine job on stage, which includes two-song set. First song is mostly clothed, second song is generally completely naked (place is BYOB, meaning girls can drop bottoms). All ladies were decent dancers and pleasant to talk to. But for me, I'm buying a fantasy at the club and no one on the roster was scratching that itch.

A couple years ago, the private areas were lit up quite a bit (boo). This is still the case, with about six cubicles built into the north wall for $20 privates. These are 2-for-1 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and definitely the time to visit. During my visit, very few privates were happening and when someone did go back, the bouncer was quick to move over and patrol the area.
