Can be a great time if you put in the effort, awesome burgers

I live relatively close to the Jackson area, and have bounced between Cracker Jaxx and Avenue over the last 4 years or so, and seen a lot of things change for both clubs. Overall each club offers the same thing, bottled domestics at the same price, dances for the same price, even the girls bounce between clubs (have a bad experience with a manager, go to the other club a month kind of a thing). I stop in typically during the day shift and stay through the night shift, to see who all is working and chat with as many girls as possible.

One major advantage to Avenues is they have a kitchen. Their food is actually surprisingly solid. They have a burger deal where it's a burger any way you'd like, fries and a domestic or soda for a fair price (fries or drink is free basically compared to ordering everything separately). Hand pressed beef, ultra high grade sourced locally, fries are made after you order them, more than generous portions. Sounds weird to say that a strip club has better food than most diners, but take my word for it.

Dancers range in age/experience/body type and abilities. I like to chit chat mostly and over time the girls remember me and it's definitely more of a "cheers" environment with a hug at the door and my beer opened for me waiting at my seat before I get there. Any given week can be totally different, some Wednesday's are crazy busy with 3 girls working, others its 3 girls per customer, hard to get a gauge on how it'll be on a given night, however overall the girls are quite friendly and don't press too hard for a dance. I tip each girl a dollar or two on stage and that goes a long way compared to sitting in the corner.
