Goodbye CJ

Ever since Avenues was bought and closed, this is the only place in Jackson. This was the first time that I had visited CJs since then.

I’m not overly ever excited to go here… one nice thing is there is a good parking lot. However, the negatives are vast: Bad side of town, girls are usually unattractive and/or overweight, the stage and bar area is very awkwardly laid out, LP area is very worn, the VIP rooms are scummy, and the prices don’t reflect these negatives.

Drinks aren’t crazy expensive but basically on par with Detroit clubs ($7 for beer),and the lap dances vary with the dancer ($20 - $30 per song). The VIP rooms cost $50 to the house and most girls require at least $150 just for 15 minutes of dances. Extras can be had, but the talent or lack there of doesn’t really give much motivation to spend over $300 for it.
