I went to Cracker Jaxx at 17:15 on a Saturday. There was no cover charge. There is a $5 cover charge after 19:00. Sincweisers were $5 in twelve ounce bottles. Buckets of six domestic beers were $25. Buckets of six specialty beers were $30, or $6 each. A half dozen import bottles were $35, or $7 each. Mixed drinks are half off before 19:00. Music is played off an AMI jukebox during the day and from a disc jockey at night, sitting up in a DJ booth on the second floor. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 and charges an $8 fee. The dress code was lax: I was wearing basketball shorts and a muscle shirt.

The bar is straight ahead as you enter. The main stage is mostly behind the bar along the back wall. The left end of the stage extends forward out onto a peninsula to the left of the bar where it is possible to tip the dancers. There are two pole positions on the main part of the stage and a third pole position on the peninsula. The wall behind the stage is all mirrors. The washrooms are down a hallway in the front right corner of the floorplan. The private dance room is in the back left corner, and the VIP rooms are down a hallway on the left side.

There were five dancers working when I arrived. All of them were Caucasian MILFs in their mid-thirties through early forties. Most of them had fading tattoos, showed signs of past childbirth, and carried a little more meat than I like. By 19:00, reinforcements had arrived in the form of two ebony dancers and a mixed dancer. Milyon was probably the most attractive of the late shifters. Contact at the stage was encouraged. One dancer invited me to palm her basketball-sized breasts. Overall, the talent was disappointing though; I wouldn’t grade any dancer higher than a 7. I had just come from dinner at a restaurant in Jackson where my waitress was more beautiful than any of the women working at Cracker Jaxx. Dancers tend to spend long periods of time with their regulars, so you need to be assertive if you want action.
