not quite tootsies

On a recent recon trip to Tootsies I noticed this club was very close and thought it worth a stop also. Easy to find and the parking lot was nearly empty so in I went. Pretty relaxed at about 3 in the afternoon, maybe 6 patrons that I saw and 4 or 5 dancers. Hit the washroom (average clean for those keeping track) and ordered my usual Lite. I seem to remember it being very cheap, maybe $2?, but there might have been a special, not drinking much in clubs I don’t really pay attention but I think it surprised me how cheap it was.

This is usually my kind of place, although a little more afternoon action would be more to my liking. No stage dancing when I was there so I amused myself for a few minutes watching a couple make out across the room. I have to admit that I didn’t stay too long, I had my sights set on Diamond Dolls and I was just stopping in because I had never been here before and I was passing by. I am sure it would be a better visit a bit later in the week or later in the day. I thought going in that this was a Hispanic/Black mixed club but it was all Black on this visit, usually the kind of place I seek out. Dancers were kind of on the heavier side, Papi specials but there were a couple I would have spent a bit of time with if they had come over.

The Office was comfortable enough that if I was passing by again, especially later in the week, I would stop again.
