In Birmingham for work, so I decided to see some of the sites. Read about The Palace here and decided to go. The parking was well lit and gated. Walked in through the front door and that was some kind of bar/restaurant. I thought I was in the wrong place but they had security and she promptly figured out what I was looking for. She gave me a reasonable pat down, nothing too intrusive and sent me off to the back. I walked in and this place was pretty empty but that is fine. Trap music was playing, which kinda sets the vibe of the place. Two girls were working. One on the main stage and one on the side stage. There were a few attractive women around playing pool or just sitting, but they were fully clothed and didn't look like they were going to be working. I sat near the side stage and after a few minutes a dancer by the name of Sensation sauntered over, danced briefly, then sauntered off. No small talk or any verbal communication. I had to get up and ask her what the deal was with dances. She told me and I decided to take her up on a VIP dance. VIP dances are 150$ for 30 minutes, with 30$ of that going to the house (paid at the bar). VIP was nearly pitch black, with old beat up chairs and benches. Sensation was great though. She was sensual and sexy all at the same time, not to mention extremely thick without being fat. VIP Dances were full nude, and there was full contact. I asked a few veiled questions that led me to believe that there were no extras to be had. It was a pretty good experience. I am used to more aggressive sales tactics, but now I know that you will need to approach and be direct in Birmingham or else you will sit there with no interaction. FYI... The beers are also very cheap. <5$ for a Guinness.
