Not The Old Sammys

Sammy’s used to be a really fun place to burn an afternoon playing hookey from work but it has clearly changed hands over the years and the furnace seems to be the go to place in Bham now. I came in this particular afternoon right after lunch and there were four or five girls working. Most of them average to below average looking but one AA girl that was probably a 7. I came in with a pocket full of cash and got a drink and change for tips and sat down at the stage. All five girls were sitting at the table, chatting each other up. Granted there weren’t any other customers in the place to speak of. I literally sat at the stage for more than a half hour before anyone got up and started dancing. Even when they started dancing they were doing skip sets and I got almost no attention at the rail even though I was sitting there with a pile of tip money. After they got off stage the girls went back to their table again. After about an hour and a half of that, I decided to call it quits and left with a pocket full of cash that could’ve been theirs but nobody was in the mood to work this particular day I guess.
