Missing the Days of the Gentleman's Club

I was in the area and wanted to try out this spot for the first time. I know some of the bartenders/dancers who work there from time to time so I decided to pop in. Aside from being in the middle of no where, parking was very limited and it was only made worse by the club reserving several spots. Had to park a few blocks away, which I don't normally mind, but as I said this club is off the beaten path so the parking situation makes for a great recipe to get robbed after dark. I happened to come on an event night with some rapper I could not care less about who I didn't even stay to see but I'm assuming that was the reason for the abnormally high entrance fee of $30. Once inside, the club is very nice, the VIP section took about half the space, but once again, that may have just been for the event that night. Lots of girls on shift of varying quality, skinny girls, fat girls, white girls, black girls there was a little of everything. The downside is that most girls didn't seem to really work the room or the stage. I found one of the more entertaining dancers, who was a good look, and opted for the 15 minute lapdance. It was mediocre to say the least, very low mileage. I miss the days of the gentleman's club, when strippers actually stripped fully nude and the champagne room offered more than what you could get at the bar.

This was a pricey spot, in a sketchy area, with mediocre dancers. While it wasn't awful, I don't see myself going back anytime soon.
