For those of you who are unfamiliar with the location, this is on Dogwood Road between Old Franklintown and the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn (just inside the western boundary of Baltimore City). It has been here for years. It is a topless only “gentleman’s club” that does offer private rooms with very limited contact. The establishment advertises that they are the only club in the city that follows the law and pays all their employees (bartenders and dancers) a minimum wage (which includes a fragment of the set fees you pay for off-the-floor encounters). When I was there on a weekday afternoon about 4:00 pm there were six – maybe seven girls -- dancing. A mixture of European-American, African-American, and Hispanic women. All young and fairly shapely. Most of the girls do a two-song “set” – the first song is usually clothed, while the second is topless. Most of the girls are wearing g-strigs or tight thongs, so plenty of shapely posterior flesh is on display. One girl removed her outer panty to reveal her butt but did not remove her top. No cover charge in the afternoon. I paid $10 for a bottle of Bud, and then gave each of the dancers a dollar or two when they came off stage to say “Hi”. One girl offered me $20 for a two-song massage sitting at a table on the floor, or $40 for the same in private. The official rates for off-the-floor encounters are posted on a big chart on the wall near the Men’s Room and again in the Men’ s Room. Compared to Philadelphia, the rates are pretty high. I was not inspired by the entertainment, and left after an hour. Never saw the last girl go on stage.

Oh. the interior of the club is very nice. A little dark when you first come in, until your eyes adjust. The stage is a narrow platform along one wall that is interrupted by a peninsula that comes out into the center of the room. At the end of this peninsula -- in the middle of the room – there is a 5-foot round stage surrounded by 11 poles. The girls hang on to these poles to “dance” but they are really just walking around. No real dancing occurs and definitely no energetic pole-dancing. (Nobody raps a leg around a pole.) And the sound system that is attached to the jukebox is VERY antiquated. Poor fidelity.

A good place to stop on your way home from work, but that’s all. I won't be back.
