quick stop at the block part1

I was on my way home from the office and had to stop in downtown for some quick business. So I took the opportunity to take a stroll down the block. My first stop was to Circus. I was in search of Sapphire, a dancer I had enjoyed time with before. Upon entering I was one of 3 patrons. There was a reasonably attractive (for block standards) girl on stage. I was approached by an old lady bar tender from whom I purchased a beer for $8...but she told me if I stuck around the next 2 would be much cheaper. I was also approached by an old lady stripper whose name I do not recall.

I politely turned her away and mentioned I was looking for Sapphire. A few minutes later the bar tender comes by again to let me know she tried to call Sapphire and she was not coming in today because her kid was home sick from school....fair enough. Actually that was pretty good service to try and see if she would be in and let me know.

A few min later the reasonably attractive girl on stage finished her set and came by to introduce herself. Cassandra was her name...I think. She let me know what she could do for me. I didnt say know...just that I was going to take a walk down the block and possibly come back. I noted her as my backup option if nothing else turned up. I quickly finished my beer and left...not to return this day.
