More good times

I was in Indianapolis again and thought for quite a bit about visiting one of the other area clubs, but I ended up returning to Dancers. It's always been reliably fun for me, and this visit was no exception, so I was pretty happy with my choice.

The basics hadn't changed. The parking lot was still well lit. Cover was $7 (both on Wednesday and on the weekend). Cokes were $4. They still scan your ID at the door (though when I returned a second night the door guy apparently recognized me and didn't even ask to see my ID). Service was good; it was easy to catch a waitress whenever I wanted one.

The stage dances were a little lackluster this trip, particularly on Wednesday. The slowness of the club may be partly to blame for that. There were a few stand-out performances (Rey was terrific, and a couple of dancers whose names I've forgotten did some nice tricks), but they were mostly forgettable.
