Mixed Bag

Went to five different clubs on or just off of Bourbon Street. We did not spend a lot of time in each club - basically went from bar to bar, including the strip clubs, and bought a drink or three in any place that didn't charge a daytime cover. Rick's and Hustler were good sized clubs, with the best looking girls. Two of the clubs were grungy and not worth the effort of walking in. Temptations was a mixed bag, though, and worthy of an explanation. The club itself: TINY. If weren't almost the only people in there, it would have been claustrophobic. It also just wasn't clean, even by club standards.

Not great. On the other hand, the manager was very cool, and the girls were great. There were only a handful on site because it was mid afternoon, but they were attentive and friendly. There are private rooms in the back. One of the girls walked me back there for a look, even though she understood we were not hanging around because we were on a bar crawl.

The rooms are off of an outdoor, enclosed courtyard and are big and private. I did not ask how much they cost, and the girl was not making a hard sale - attitude was more like "just for you to know about if you come back." If I hadn't been with others, I would have stayed around despite the club's physical drawbacks.
