I went to State Line Showgirls on a Saturday night at 19:45. The club is a juice bar, so the cover charge was $15, but unlimited nonalcoholic drinks were free. Luckily, they did have Dr. Pepper. If you need alcoholic beverages, go to the bar next door called Kon Tiki. It is owned by the strip club and located inside the same building, but you have to walk outside to go between the two. The dress code was fairly lax as I was allowed to wear my muscle shirt inside. The chairs were plush, and the interior seemed to be well taken care of. The main stage is a large island with two stationary pole positions.

Lap dances are $25 and take place in the main room in little booths facing everything else going on in the club. There are VIP dances available in a private lap dance area out of view of the rest of the club, but they cost $50 and you have to buy a $10 bracelet. There is also a champagne room called the Hydeaway that I was quoted at $360 for a half hour. The regular lap dances did not allow contact other than touching the hips. I am not sure if the more expensive options allow two-way contact, but I’d think not. Around 22:30, the club offered two-for-one lap dances, and this is where one can find value.

Similar to the club in Spokane, there is a drink hustle. Every time a dancer sits down with you, a waitress almost immediately approaches and asks if you want to buy the lady a drink. The drinks are the same juices and sodas customers get for free, but they charge $10 or $20 when it is for a dancer. It is a money grab by the club. Also, the more drinks that a dancer can get a guy to buy, the lower her tip out will be. The night shift dancers start at 21:00. The quality of talent here was off the charts. I was not expecting much in the mountains of Idaho, but the line-up was a 7-Up factory with the exception of two outliers. All dancers were Caucasian, except for one Haitian and one Turk. There were about twenty dancers on the Saturday night shift.
