Still my Indy favorite

This review covers two recent visits, on a Tuesday afternoon in May and on a recent weekday afternoon.

After clubbing in Indy for nearly 20 years, I finally gave Club Rio a try in 2012, though only at night, and liked it pretty well. When I discovered the joys of the day shift in summer 2014, I became a fan and have mostly stopped visiting my former favorites in town: Brad's, Dancers, Babes, and Harem House. Last year, for example, I visited Club Rio about 15 times and each of the other four once or not at all.

What I enjoy about this club are: the surprisingly high quality of dancers on day shift (usually), the chill atmosphere and low pressure, and the very high mileage on lap dances and especially in the VIP room. What I don't like are the drink prices. Unless there's a special (i.e. Mon-Thu, as I recall), beers cost $5.75 domestic and $6.75 import. I hate to think about how many drinks I've bought for dancers at $8-10.
