Good Place to Wait for a Flight

I stopped in Monroe's on my way to the West Palm Beach airport. Monroe's is conveniently located near the airport and near most of the car rental return locations. The exterior of the building was much nicer than I usually see with a club. There is a mandatory valet attendant (complimentary when I was there). And, although I do appreciate being safe, the metal detector wand had me a little un-nerved that it was needed at this club. I never felt unsafe, but still...

In any event, I walked in and there was a nominal entry fee $3-$5. I went through the doors and you come into the club from a corner. It is was pretty dark so it took my eyes a while to adjust. There is a stage in the middle of the club with a bar on either side of the dance floor. There is amble seating around the main stage and there are also smaller stages set near both bars. The dancers rotate on the smaller stages, not getting completely naked until their time on the main stage.

Although there were many dancers on shift, most seemed to be in the back or occupied with regulars. After being at the club for 10 minutes and seated at the bar nearest the entrance, I was approached by one dancer asking if I wanted a dance. I demurred at that point because I really hadn't had much time to look around or assess. The bar service (waitress) was prompt and attentive (and cute).
