Monroes on a Monday

In West Palm Beach for business, me and a couple of buddies wanted to find a place to have a few drinks and watch the Alabama/Clemson Championship game. The place was kind of empty but the place was really well laid out. There were a couple of dancers on the stages but the energy was fairly low at that point. The ladies off the stage, mostly Spanish, were very friendly and engaging. The guys in my party were hungry so Reggie, the floor manager, took us into the back where there was a dining area. Our server was a very sexy and friendly sister who immediately began talking sh*t about my Dallas Cowboys. And I love when a woman knows her football.

Being from New York, we found the bottle price to be quite reasonable in comparison to the clubs back in the city. So we took advantage and proceeded to wine and dine. Now, I don't usually eat at strip clubs, but after seeing how the dining area looked like an actual restaurant I felt comfortable ordering. The burgers and calamari were great. Much better than I would have thought for a strip club.

After our meal, we went back out to the floor and we were happy to see that the action had ratcheted up considerably. The place was still relatively empty of patrons as most of the guys had gathered around the bar TVs to watch the game. The girls on the big stage were doing their thing while I was focused on this one particularly talented dancer on a small stage to the front. As I got more and more into her gyrations, one of my buddies sounded the alarm that it was time to head out... Business in the AM.

In closing, Monroes in a place that I look forward to visiting next time I am in the area... Hopefully soon.
