Well, after about a year's absence...
Well, after about a year's absence I decided to give Jezebel's another try, and I gotta say that I just don't get this place. It tries to be upscale and fancy looking and charge exorbiant prices for dances, yet the only people that I see in here seem to be college aged frat boys with little money to spend. I'm sorry, but the girls at this place (which there were only about 12 of on this night, pretty low for a Saturday, and considerably fewer than what I saw last year) aren't any better looking than any of the competing operations in town.
Would someone please explain to me how they justify charging $30 for a lap dance here?, (strictly hands off too). The funny thing is that once an hour or so they have a "cattle call" where all dancers come up on stage then go into the crowd to find a customer to sell a 2-for-1 dance to. Well the first hour I was there, I had a reasonably cute redhead ask, so I figured at two songs for $30, I thought that I'd try it out. Well, low and behold she wants the $30 up front. I understand the need to protect against ripoffs, but by charging upfront, dancers are negating the possibility of selling multiple dances, as well as getting tips. The dance was okay for $15 bucks a song (cut songs I might add), but no way would I pay $30 for this.
About the only saving grace to Jezzie's is that there is no annoying tip walk. This is perhaps why there are so many young guys here with barely enough money to tip the stage. Apparently they think lap dances should be reserved for lawyers and corporate executives. They're about the only ones who can afford them here.
